I am pleased to welcome you to The University Church of England Academy (UCEA), in Ellesmere Port.
Our Academy is a school for students aged 11-18 and is a member of UCAT – The University of Chester Academies Trust.
We provide the highest quality education to young people and our aims at UCEA are as those of the whole UCAT family, where we develop and maintain a culture that:
- enables individuals to Believe in themselves and in their ability, as well as in others
- cultivates within our students and staff a true sense that they Belong to a family that cares for them and supports them
- enriches and extends their learning so that each can Become the individual they aspire to be.
Our new purpose built Academy, set in the heart of Ellesmere Port, provides our students with a safe and accessible environment with cutting-edge facilities. Our experienced professional staff team offer:
- a friendly, happy and well-disciplined learning community
- inspiring teaching
- an individualised curriculum which prepares each student for “life-long learning”
- a relentless focus on continuous improvement, academically, personally and socially.
By living out our Christian ethos and core values of Believe, Belong, Become, we enable our students to aspire to be the best they can be, gain the skills to be independent learners and develop as moral citizens.
I extend a personal invitation to you, to visit us to meet with both the staff and students, who will demonstrate the outstanding education UCEA has to offer to your children.
